Literature Text

My body
Refuses to carry
The burden of
My heavy heart.
These emotions,
Like anchors,
Nailed to my
Ankles.
Every step
A new pain,
And every word
A new heartbreak.

I try to understand.
Am I
Damned to
Be alone?
Fate frowns
Upon my
Fragile existence.

Nothing more
Than glass
Waiting to be
Smashed.
More stupid sympathetic poetry.
Being lonely is dumb.

 It's not dumb, it shows how strong you are. :)

And I have to admit, that last stanza hit me hard. I've definitely felt like glass before, only shattered glass. :/
