I was plunged into the cold abyss, and I felt my entire body convulse in shock as the freezing flow stabbed at my nerves like serrated and jagged blades of frigid steel. I waited for my disorientation to fade, and, in what seemed like mere seconds, I was swimming upward, fearing the mockery of those who had pushed me in. I felt as if I was about to surface, when something struck my head with a loud clunk that reverberated throughout my head.



My, I'd forgotten how quickly the surface freezes over...

... This remindes me of something I read for a few months ago. It was a challenge and the challenge was "Write a horror story with two sentence.". The story was something like this: "I finally reached her and took hold of her before I swam back to the surface. It have never occured to me how fast the water freezes over."

But I like this! You did great with it!
